Shipping Policy

Last updated: 12 July 2026

This Shipping Policy applies to orders placed through www.grandlinecodex.com.

1. Shipping Origin

All orders are shipped from Luxembourg by:

The Grand Line Codex S.à r.l.-S
59, Rue de Macher
5550 Remich
Luxembourg

2. Shipping Method

All orders are shipped exclusively with DHL Express and include shipment tracking.

Shipping is available only to countries, territories and addresses offered during checkout. Delivery remains subject to DHL Express availability, customs requirements, sanctions and other applicable shipping restrictions.

We cannot deliver to addresses that are not supported by DHL Express.

3. Order Processing

Orders are generally processed within 2 to 5 business days after successful payment confirmation.

Business days exclude Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays in Luxembourg.

Processing times may be longer during product launches, periods of high order volume, public holidays, payment verification or exceptional circumstances.

The processing period is separate from the DHL Express delivery time.

4. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed during checkout before the order is submitted.

The shipping price may depend on:

  • the delivery destination;

  • the number of books ordered;

  • the total parcel weight;

  • remote-area charges; and

  • other DHL Express service charges.

The customer will be shown the total shipping cost before completing payment.

5. Estimated Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times may be displayed during checkout or provided after shipment.

Delivery estimates are not guaranteed delivery dates. Actual delivery times may vary because of:

  • the destination;

  • customs clearance;

  • DHL service conditions;

  • remote-area delivery;

  • weather;

  • public holidays;

  • security inspections;

  • transportation disruptions; or

  • circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Mandatory consumer rights concerning delayed delivery remain unaffected.

6. Shipment Tracking

Once an order has been shipped, the customer will receive a shipping confirmation containing the DHL Express tracking information.

Tracking updates are managed by DHL and may take some time to appear after the shipping label has been created or the parcel has been collected.

Customers are responsible for monitoring the tracking information and responding promptly to any requests from DHL or customs authorities.

7. Delivery Address

Customers must provide a complete and accurate delivery address during checkout.

Please review the address carefully before submitting the order and again after receiving the order confirmation.

Address changes may be requested before the shipping label has been created, but we cannot guarantee that a requested change can still be made.

Once the shipping label has been created or the parcel has been handed to DHL Express, the address may no longer be changeable.

Additional costs caused by an incorrect, incomplete or unsupported address may be charged to the customer to the extent permitted by law.

8. Taxes and Import Duties

Applicable taxes and import duties are generally calculated and collected during checkout where supported.

Customers remain responsible for providing accurate information required for customs clearance.

DHL Express or the destination country’s customs authority may request additional information, identification or documents from the recipient.

In exceptional cases, customs authorities may reassess a shipment or impose additional charges that could not be calculated during checkout. Customers who believe they are being charged twice should contact us before making an additional payment where possible.

9. Customs Clearance

International customers must cooperate with DHL Express and the relevant customs authorities.

Failure to provide requested customs information may delay the shipment or cause it to be returned to us.

We cannot declare an incorrect product value, mark a commercial order as a gift or provide false customs information.

Customs-clearance delays are outside our direct control, but we will provide reasonable assistance where possible.

10. Failed Delivery or Unclaimed Packages

Customers are responsible for monitoring their tracking information and being available to receive the shipment.

A parcel may be returned to us if:

  • the delivery address is incorrect or incomplete;

  • the recipient cannot be reached;

  • required customs information is not provided;

  • the parcel is refused;

  • delivery attempts are unsuccessful; or

  • the parcel is not collected within the permitted period.

Any refund or reshipment will be handled in accordance with our Return and Cancellation Policy.

Additional shipping, return, storage, customs or handling costs caused by a failed delivery may be deducted or charged to the customer where permitted by law.

11. Damaged Shipments

Customers should inspect the parcel promptly after delivery.

If the shipping box or book arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible, preferably within seven days, and keep:

  • the shipping box;

  • the product packaging;

  • the DHL shipping label;

  • all internal packaging; and

  • the damaged book.

Please provide clear photographs of the parcel, packaging and damage.

A report made after seven days does not automatically remove any mandatory statutory rights.

Damaged-product claims and available remedies are governed by our Return and Cancellation Policy.

12. Packages Marked as Delivered

If DHL marks a parcel as delivered but it cannot be located, the customer should first check:

  • all entrances and safe delivery locations;

  • household members;

  • neighbours;

  • reception or building management;

  • any DHL delivery notification; and

  • the local DHL Express office.

The customer should then contact us so that the available delivery evidence can be reviewed and, where appropriate, an investigation can be opened with DHL.

A refund or replacement will not automatically be issued before the available evidence and carrier investigation have been reviewed. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

13. Events Outside Our Control

We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, customs delays, strikes, transportation interruptions, government restrictions, war, natural disasters or carrier network disruption.

This does not remove any mandatory right to cancel an order or receive a refund where applicable law provides such a right.

14. Related Policies

Returns, withdrawals, refunds, damaged products, refused shipments and undelivered orders are governed by our:

  • Return and Cancellation Policy; and

  • Terms and Conditions.

Where mandatory consumer law provides stronger rights, those rights remain unaffected.
